GETTING TO THE SOURCE

— Please note this event has ended —

Water is quiet. Water is a requirement. Water is the ultimate connector because it underpins everything: our lives, our economies, our communities, and our ecosystems.

Rivers and streams are our largest source waters, yet more than 50% of U.S. rivers, streams, and tributaries are not fishable, swimmable, or drinkable.

In this intimate conscious conversation, we will explore the multi-faceted, all-reaching nature of one of our most precious and endangered resources: water.

Join Holly Ruxin (Montcalm), in collaboration with Molly McCabe (Board Member, the Freshwater Trust) and Arthine Cossey van Duyne (Advisor, the Freshwater Trust) to elevate your understanding of the importance of and issues surrounding source water, the bodies of water allowing for safe and life-sustaining consumption of the resource by communities.

We will identify the widespread and time-sensitive problems in our source water systems, share our unique relationships with the resource with the group, and collaborate for effective solutions.
